$35 Entries will be taken at sign-up on Saturday, April 5th – CASH ONLY.

or credit card – contact the Fair Office for availability – usually fills the first day)

Rules:

Ages 3 to 7 - Contestant must not weigh more than 60 lbs.
Long sleeves required
Must wear pants
Closed toed shoes
Helmet and vest MUST BE WORN (we can provide helmet and vest)
If the Mutton Bustin’ Chairperson determines that a child is emotionally and/or physically unable to safely ride and there is a legitimate concern of serious injury to the child and/or sheep, then the said Chairperson reserves the right to disallow the ride. The decision of the Chairperson is final.
Only the contestant gets in free. Parents and all other spectators will have to pay the gate admission.
NO REFUNDS for any reason.
Only one parent/guardian is allowed in the arena area with their child. WARNING: There is an inherent risk of injury or death when farm animal activities are held. The Parent/Guardian voluntarily assumes all risks related to this event and the Galveston County Fair & Rodeo shall not be held liable for the health and safety of the parent/guardian. The parent/guardian must sign a waiver when checking in their child for this event or child will not be able to participate and no refunds will be issued.
