4-H Leaders & Vo-Ag Teachers:
We are only a few weeks from Fair time.  Please announce the following information at your monthly club/chapter meetings to the exhibitors and their parents.  Also, remind your members to access the website for updated information which is posted as it becomes available.

MARCH - Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

MARCH 13 – DEADLINE FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS, YOUTH PROJECT SHOW ENTRIES AND CONTEST ENTRIES (FAIR KING & QUEEN, JR/LITTLE MR & MISS 4H, RODEO QUEEN AND MORE).  ENTRY FEES/FORMS/APPLICATIONS ARE DUE IN THE FAIR OFFICE BY 5:00 PM ON THIS DATE.  BRING YOUR ENTRIES IN EARLY SO YOU DON’T MISS THE DEADLINE!!!

MARCH 29 - LARGE ANIMAL SCALES will be open for weighing steer and heifer projects from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

MARCH 29 – YOUTH RODEO in the rodeo arena beginning at 10:00 am.  Check out our website for more information.

MARCH 29 – KICK-OFF DANCE (for adults) will be held in the Ed Pickett Hall on the fairgrounds from 8:00 pm to 12 midnight.  David Lee Grace, Jr. and his band will be performing.  Tickets are available at the Fair Office.  Hope to see you there.

APRIL – FAIR TIME! 

APRIL 5 - LARGE ANIMAL SCALES will be open for weighing steer and heifer projects from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

APRIL 5 – 3rd ANNUAL YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP FORTY CREEK FISHING TOURNAMENT.  Entries are due by March 27th in the Fair Office.  For more details on this event, please access our website.

APRIL 5 – 5th ANNUAL FAITH SLADEK MEMORIAL HORSE SHOW will be held in the Eddie Moore Rodeo Arena located on the fairgrounds at 9:00 am sharp.

APRIL 6 – RODEO QUEEN COMPETITION will be held in the Eddie Moore Rodeo Arena at 3:00 pm.

APRIL 8 – YOUTH PROJECT SHOW CHECK-IN from 5:00 – 6:30 pm in the Ed Pickett Hall.APRIL 11 – 19: 70TH ANNUAL FAIR & RODEO

UPCOMING EVENTS: 

SUMMER SERIES - Rodeo Events for Youth will be held for six weeks on Thursday evenings beginning June 12.  More details coming soon.

REMINDERS: 

ALL 4H CLUBS/FFA CHAPTERS who use the Youth Building and Livestock Pavilion for meetings and events, please help us keep these areas clean!


SCRAMBLE RECIPIENTS – Do not forget to turn in your monthly reports to the Fair Office by the 10th of each month for the previous month’s activities.  Do not forget to bring your stamped envelope addressed to the sponsor, as the report will be mailed to them.
